Kenya Radio Stations

The two major players in the Kenyan radio media business are the government owned KBC and the newcomer Royal Media.

KBC owns about 8 radio stations across the country; an English service station and a Swahili one, with the rest broadcasting in alternate vernacular languages.

Royal media commands about 9 radio stations also spread across the country. This is by far the highest number of radio stations to be owned by any one private group.
