Kenya Radio Stations
The two major players in the Kenyan radio media business are the government owned KBC and the newcomer Royal Media. KBC owns about 8 radio stations across the country; an English service station and a Swahili one, with the rest broadcasting in alternate vernacular languages. Royal media commands about 9 radio stations also spread across the country. This is by far the highest number of radio stations to be owned by any one private group. These are the major radio stations in Nairobi. Most of them can be listened to on the Internet. Kiss 100 FM Nairobi's Fresh Hits and R&B. Family FM features gospel music and religious programmes. Kameme FM A vernacular speaking' radio station targeting the kikuyu speaking community. Easy FM - Easy FM is owned by the Nation Media Group.It was called Nation FM before the name was changed to Easy FM.- Classic FM - Hope FM - 93.3FM - Kass FM - Metro East 101.9FM - Mtaa FM
